This product is a heat exchanger separator, also known as a suction accumulator or liquid-gas separator, used in refrigeration
cycle systems. Its key function is to ensure that the refrigerant returning to the compressor is completely in gaseous form.
Installed in the suction line between the evaporator and the compressor, it separates liquid and gaseous refrigerants, allowing
only the vapor to proceed to the compressor. This prevents liquid slugging, which can cause severe damage to the compressor. Any
liquid refrigerant captured in the separator is gradually evaporated within the vessel before entering the compressor, ensuring
safe and efficient system operation.

Operating Principle:

In a refrigeration cycle, the refrigerant must be completely vaporized before it returns to the compressor. A suction line
accumulator (or liquid-gas separator) is installed between the evaporator and the compressor to achieve this. It ensures the
complete separation of gaseous and liquid refrigerant, allowing only vapor to enter the compressor. This prevents liquid slugging,
which could cause severe damage. Any trapped liquid refrigerant is retained within the vessel to evaporate gradually. Only after
it has fully vaporized will it safely enter the compressor.
