Product Description

Product Description

Product Overview

The SAV series hot gas bypass valve is a mechanical pressure regulating component specially designed for industrial refrigeration systems, widely matched with flake ice machines, water chillers, blast freezers and cold storage units.

 Working Principle
It automatically balances the suction pressure of the refrigeration system by bypassing high-temperature and high-pressure discharge hot gas from the compressor to the low-pressure evaporator side. When the unit runs under low load, the valve opens to prevent excessively low suction pressure, effectively avoiding liquid slugging and burnout damage to the compressor. Fully mechanical structure, no extra electric control required, automatic operation with pressure changes.
Product Features
Copper ODF brazed pipe connections, convenient for welding installation on refrigeration pipelines, good sealing performance.
Brass valve body with anti-corrosion treatment, red protective cap for dust and damage prevention during storage and transportation.
Stable pressure control performance, wide applicable ambient temperature range, adapt to intermittent operation of ice machines and chillers.

Specification

Used in the refrigerating compressor set(without energy unloading device) to realize the systematic energy regulation.

• Can be used as autometic expansion valve under fixed pressure to maintain the fixed evaporation pressure(temperature).
• Can prevent the refrigerating compressor set from extract pressure decreasing lower than the minimum value.
• Connecting means include flare with thread and ODF copper pipe welding.
• Maximum working pressure: 2.8 MPa.
