Product Overview

The SAV series hot gas bypass valve is a mechanical pressure regulating component specially designed for industrial refrigeration systems, widely matched with flake ice machines, water chillers, blast freezers and cold storage units.

 Working Principle
It automatically balances the suction pressure of the refrigeration system by bypassing high-temperature and high-pressure discharge hot gas from the compressor to the low-pressure evaporator side. When the unit runs under low load, the valve opens to prevent excessively low suction pressure, effectively avoiding liquid slugging and burnout damage to the compressor. Fully mechanical structure, no extra electric control required, automatic operation with pressure changes.

• Can be used as autometic expansion valve under fixed pressure to maintain the fixed evaporation pressure(temperature).
• Can prevent the refrigerating compressor set from extract pressure decreasing lower than the minimum value.
• Connecting means include flare with thread and ODF copper pipe welding.

Valve Body: High-strength brass with anti-rust polishing, wear-resistant, corrosion-proof for long refrigeration operation
Pipe Interface: ODF pure copper welding ports (inlet + outlet + bypass branch), smooth copper tubes for seamless welding with refrigeration pipelines
Adjustment Port: Built-in pressure adjustment bolt on the stainless steel top cap; rotate clockwise to raise evaporating pressure, counter-clockwise to lower it, each full rotation changes pressure by ~0.8 bar
Protective Parts: Red plastic dust cap for the adjustment port, prevents dust and collision damage during transport & storage
Internal Core: Imported diaphragm & spring components, sensitive pressure sensing, stable automatic opening/closing
